Fifty miles north of Yellowstone National Park, Livingston is nestled in a valley surrounded by the Absaroka-Beartooth wilderness and the Gallatin and Crazy Mountains.  Whether you're looking for an outdoor adventure or an in-town sight-seeing trip, Livingston has plenty to offer.

Things to see and do in the Livingston Area...

Museums - Livingston Depot Center, located in the depot built in 1902 by the Northern Pacific Railroad, International Fly Fishing Museum, Park County Historical Museum and Natural History Exhibit Hall display the history and culture of the area.
Historic Downtown - Great shopping is available in this frontier town's many boutiques, gift shops, new and used book shops, antique shops, various outfitters and fly shops, renowned restaurants, cafes and saloons.  There are over 450 Livingston buildings on the National Historic Register and walking tour maps are available.
Livingston Golf Club - A beautiful, public 9-hole course located at the foot of the Absaroka Mountains on the Yellowstone River.
Federation of Fly Fishers Education Center - National headquarters for fly fishing education is here in Livingston where blue-ribbon fly fishing is only minutes away on the Yellowstone, Shields, and Boulder Rivers.
Sacajawea Park - Stop for a picnic lunch and enjoy this scenic park while the kids let off steam in the wading pool, swimming pool and play area. Located on the Yellowstone River.
Rodeo! Enjoy the fun and excitement of the 77th annual Livingston Roundup Rodeo, July 2nd-4th.
River Trips - Guided river trips for fishing, whitewater rapids, or just pleasure floats are a sample of the water adventures to be found here
