Things to do in the Red Lodge Area

Take a drive in the country. Wander the small towns of Fishtail, Dean and Nye-A two hour drive, unless the fish are biting. Stop and hike to Woodbine Falls.
Explore! Drive though the old mining towns of Bearcreek and Washoe.
Follow that Stage! Take a 4-wheel vehicle down the Meeteetse Trail of Clark, Wyoming.  Built in 1881 as an army supply trail, it became the stagecoach route into Red Lodge.
Beartooth Nature Center: View North American wildlife. Open May through September.
Wide Open Adventure! Visit Chief Plenty Coups Memorial State Park and Little Big Horn Battlefield.
Cool Mountain Air. Spend the day in Billings-Montana's largest city...then head on up to the mountains. The fish are biting and the living is easy.
Get off the beaten path. Explore the Big Horn Canyon at Horseshoe Bend.  Hike to an ancient Indian Medicine Wheel.
Scenic 4-Wheel Drive. There's good fishing and incredible scenery waiting for you at Hell Roaring Plateau.
